Brief Description:
This program is used by the National Space Science Data Center's Satellite
Situation Center (SSC) for magnetic field-line tracing. The main geomagnetic
field is represented by a spherical harmonics model (IGRF 65 or 75) and the
external field by the Mead-Fairfield model. Required
input information includes time, year, altitude where trace should stop,
latitude, longitude, and altitude where trace should start (e.g., satellite
location). TRAJLST is adopted to the special needs of the SSC. The source code
is, unfortunately, poorly documented, which may hinder use of the program for
other applications.
